Ceradyne Boron Products supplies potassium fluoroborate (KBF4) primarily as a precursor for chemical manufacture. The material is a white to off-white powder with ¹¹B enrichment of 98% or greater. Applications exist in the production of borosilicate glasses for rad-hard electronics and ¹¹B enriched Boron Trifluoride for ion implantation.
